As a publicist, Themba was exceptional, exploring every avenue
and ensuring that ASSITEJ South Africa had the highest publicity
rating throughout the year 2012 of any ASSITEJ centre worldwide
(there are over 85 national centres, and some of them are far
better funded than ours). He generated over R7 200 000 million
in publicity and drove the "Take a Child to the Theatre Today"
campaign in 2012 and 2013, putting ASSITEJ SA on the national
map as regards its focus on access to the arts for children and
young people. In 2013 some 33 separate theatres countrywide
joined the campaign and around 9000 children were given access
to the theatre, most for the first time. As a result in part of
these efforts, ASSITEJ SA was honoured with the Naledi Executive
Director’s Award for making a significant contribution to the
advancement and development of SA Live Theatre through our
vision and commitment.

SCE Productions has the ability to do a lot in a short time.
Their networking skills and knowledge sure counted in our favor.
They took our marketing from a local to national exposure point
of view. Press releases were shared in all kinds of media forms
(print, online and broadcast). The success rate was very high as
"Fietna Lekke jy" comedy show was sold out. Themba is a man with
humble beginnings. He is a Person who believes in positive
upliftment and helps people with marketing challenges. His way
of showing generosity is to always share his knowledge and skill
with others. I would recommend anyone to make use of his
excellent services.

SCE Productions was the publicist that was assigned to work with
us, Triple C and The Dance Project, for Cape Towns Most Wanted
that happened at Artscape the 26 and 27 July 2014. His work and
efforts was superb and much appreciated. I, Cleo Notcutt, would
personally like to thank him for such a great job with the
publicity that we received, from newspapers, to television
appearances and to radio interviews we got a huge amount of
coverage for the show which is made up of a cast of 200 dancers
from all different areas, cultures and backgrounds. The exposure
that we could offer them from SCE Productions hard work was life
changing to many of these young talented dancers. We are
extremely appreciative and would love to work with the
organisation again on any other projects, shows and events.
Their patience, research and hard work paid off when the show,
running for the first time at Artscape, resulted in both nights
being sold out.

It was a pleasure working with Themba. He worked extremely well
as a team member and he achieved more publicity for the Season
than we ever had in previous years. He was especially good at
providing us with loads more radio coverage than in previous
years, which was undoubtedly effective, radio being so
immediate. I recommend Themba as a first-rate professional. He
is lively and imaginative.
